Hmm.. where to start.

I'm in my web design class right now. (I've been updating a lot of my journals from school lately -- have you noticed that?) We're supposed to be coding this one JavaScript thing, but to tell you the truth, I have no idea how the hell to do what he has asked us to do. Quite frankly, he's not a good teacher and if I didn't know what I know about computers, I probably would have shot myself out of frustration long ago.

On a different note, what do you think of my recent colored drawings? I am really pleased with them, and despite the tedious tracing that's involoved, I'm enjoying it.

School elections are coming up soon, for class prez, vice prez, treasurer... I've been taking promotionaly pins and badges from everyone who has offered me one. =]

I'm in an intensive acting class thing, and we're preforming a scene from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. I'm Olivia. I've been in several Shakespeare plays, but for whatever reason, I'm always cast as a guy. Always. So I was pretty excited when I got the part for Olivia. Can you imagine if I had been casted as Viola? That would have been SO ironic.

Our homework for the class was to watch She's The Man, since it's based off of Twelfth Night. Also, we're setting it in modern times, and we're going to try and tie in as many jokes from the movie as we can. =]

Some big news: I got a cell phone! I got a razor, and I love it.

sis: "you got a razor?!"
me: "yup."
sis: (to mum) "you didn't tell me she got a RAZOR!"
mum: "...so she can shave with it, great."

It was funny. =]

Anyways, I have to go. He's going to be checking to make sure we all did it, and I'd rather not fail the class. =]

If you don't find his teaching style is that great for you.. Maybe you should consider a writen guide? :) The dummy series is one of my favs. I have the Dreamweaver one and Flash one actually..

Just a suggestion, it may help you grasp the basics faster then a teacher.. =D

Thats true, don't give up on it though, sometimes its just the teaching style doesn't click.
Once you find one you like, it will all come easier.
