these past couple days i've found myself in the rare position of watching one of my friends casually browse my dA account. it always starts out where i'm showing them something i submitted that had to do with some conversation or another we had been having.. and then evolved to them getting all the way to the very first picture i ever submitted.

which gave me a chance to look at all my old art. and caused me to cringe. so.. i sat myself down this evening, put on some good ol' tunes off the ipod, and decided i'd finally clean up my gallery. redrawing old pictures, re-editing old photos.. it's quite the task to take up.

so get ready for some revamped art. (: hopefully you'll like them even better than you did the originals. if you don't.. sorry! D: because i am much more pleased with them.

so sophmore year has been craaaaazy for me
marching band has literally consumed my social life.. hell, i can hardly find enough time to finish my homework, much less hang out with friends!

sooo many school projects... ><

oh, and i keep getting grounded off the comp. my parents are getting mad at me a lot lately.. dunno why..

for instance, this time i'm grounded cuz i didn't go get the vegetables fast enough for dinner:

dad: go get the vegetables
me: hold on, lemme finish eating this rice
(i had like two bites left)
dad: i said go get the vegetables. STOP EATING, GO GET THE VEGETABLES
me: (gets up, grumbling) jeez if you wanted the vegetables so badly you coulda gotten them yourself
dad: GROUNDED FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

no not really, just for the week. but that really is what happened.

lol and then he like BLEW UP on my sister cuz she was looking at him like 'holy f!!' while he was screaming at me. he goes 'YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME TOO??!' she wasn't even DOING anything.. it was kinda funny.

i'm at school right now. that's why i'm on the comp. too bad school computers ban facebook.. pooey

so that's my life in a nutshell at the moment.
homecoming parade is coming up, yay marching band!

well i've only got a few more minutes till class ends. better get out of the computer lab.

oh! almost forgot. today is fictional character day at me school. i'm dressed up as lucky from lucky charms. my hat is AMAZING. :3

had this in her journal, and since I am bored I decided I'd do it. I'm not gonna tag anyone, cuz no one I tag ever does it. Anyway... 8 random things about me:

1. I can't whistle or snap my fingers.

2. I don't like potato chips.

3. I can understand Shakespearean text.

4. I went swimming in a mountain lake once that was fed by glaciers in order to win a dare.

5. This summer was the first time I ever went on a roller coaster that had loops in it. And absolutely loved it.

6. When I was little I cured my friend's fear of heights by making her climb a pine tree that was in my back yard, and I wouldn't let her down until she reached the top. Yeah, I was evil back then. But it worked.

7. I am deathly, deathly afraid of tornadoes.

8. I have lived in the same house my entire life.

Wow has my summer been crazy.

I finally sat down yesterday and went through all the deviations that had accumulated during my involvement with the Ulster Project (which pretty much took over my entire life for the past month!). About half-way through I realized I couldn't look at another one without drawing something.. I hadn't drawn anything except for three pictures (all drawn for other people) during the entire month of July!

I like the final product.. hopefully I'll have it up on dA soon. In the meantime, enjoy the pictures I put up! =]

I just saw the Simpsons Movie.. it is SO funny.

Oh and I of course read Harry Potter 7 and LOVED IT!!!

On a sadder note my rats died.. but I got a new one!! She has a viral infection though so we got her medicine and as soon as she stops sneezing we're gettin' two more! =]

I made some of the greatest friends of my life during the Ulster Project.. lol me and Nathan started playing Trivial Pursuit at this one event and we still haven't finished the game.. Everytime we see each other we're like, "You ready to finish that Trivial Pursuit game?" "Hellz yes!" It's gonna be one intense game let me tell you. =]

don't expect very much artwork from me this summer. i have about two weeks this summer that i'm not doing something, whether it's camp... or the ulster project... or camp... or... camp...

i do have a project in mind, though. you guys should like it. cuz i'm laughing just thinking about it. xD

all my IRL friends out there... call me or something, cuz i am BORED. and it's not that kind of boredom where you can go and do sometime productive. no, it's that kind of boredom where you just wanna go hang out and laugh too much.

omg! i learned how to play chess. =3

in other news, i think the batteries in my mouse are dying. oh, and the 'cool watermellon' flavour of Extra gum is really good. go out and buy yourself a pack.
